1. Detailed role description:
Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
- Develop and analyse financial models to support strategic decision-making.
- Assist in creating long-term financial strategies for cost reduction and revenue growth.
- Conduct budgeting and financial projections to assess business performance.
- Monitor key financial metrics and provide insights on financial trends.
Consolidation of Financial Statements & MIS Reporting
- Assist in preparing and consolidating financial statements for multiple entities within a group.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and other financial reporting standards.
- Conduct variance analysis and identify discrepancies in consolidated reports.
- Prepare and maintain Management Information System (MIS) reports for financial performance tracking.
Tax Planning & Compliance
- Conduct research on corporate tax laws, international taxation, and tax optimization strategies.
- Analyse tax implications of mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring activities.
- Provide recommendations for improving tax efficiency in domestic and cross-border transactions.
- Research regulatory requirements for incorporating foreign entities in different jurisdictions.
- Provide guidance on legal structures, tax implications, and compliance requirements.
- Support the execution of cross-border transactions and international business expansion.
Group Restructuring & Corporate Strategy
- Research and propose restructuring strategies to enhance business efficiency.
- Evaluate the financial and legal impact of entity mergers, demergers, and spin-offs.
- Support leadership in strategic decision-making for corporate restructuring.
