Verve Advisory is looking for an Accounts Executive who brings strong accounting fundamentals together with a builder\u2019s mindset. Someone who can handle core finance operations with precision and also automate, report, and improve how that work gets done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is a role with real ownership. You will manage day-to-day accounts, prepare MIS reports that leadership actually reads, and contribute to making finance processes more reliable and less dependent on manual effort. You will work in a modern, fully virtual environment alongside a collaborative and experienced team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Manage Core Accounts: <\/strong>Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries with accuracy and consistency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Prepare MIS Reports: <\/strong>Build and deliver Management Information System reports that give leadership clear, timely visibility into the business\u2019s financial health.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Drive Automation: <\/strong>Identify repetitive manual tasks and replace them with robust Excel or Google Sheets automations \u2014 dashboards, dynamic trackers, and formula-driven workflows.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Support Compliance &amp; Closings: <\/strong>Assist with GST filings, TDS workings, and month-end\/year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Work with ERP Systems: <\/strong>Record and manage transactions in Tally Prime, Tally ERP 9, and contribute to ERP migration or improvement projects as the team grows.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Build Financial Models: <\/strong>Create and maintain basic financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis that support decision-making.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Document and Improve Processes: <\/strong>Map how accounting work currently flows, identify gaps, and document improved processes so quality does not depend on a single person\u2019s memory.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Use AI as a Work Tool: <\/strong>Leverage AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT to speed up reporting, drafting, and analysis as a genuine productivity multiplier, not an afterthought.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Deliver Decision-Ready Reports: <\/strong>Turn financial data into clear, well-structured reports in Word and PowerPoint that help management act with confidence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Skills &amp; Tools<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><thead><tr><td><strong>Area<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Tools \/ Skills<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Microsoft Office<\/strong><\/td><td>Advanced Excel (PivotTables, Power Query, VLOOKUP, Macros), Word, PowerPoint<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Accounting Software<\/strong><\/td><td>Tally Prime, Tally ERP 9<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>ERP Systems<\/strong><\/td><td>SAP Software (FICO exposure preferred); ERPNext, Zoho Books a plus<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Reporting &amp; Analysis<\/strong><\/td><td>MIS Reporting, Data Analysis, Financial Dashboards<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Financial Modelling<\/strong><\/td><td>Budgeting, Forecasting, Variance Analysis (Basic to Intermediate)<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>AI &amp; Productivity Tools<\/strong><\/td><td>Claude, ChatGPT used actively to enhance output quality and speed<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What We\u2019re Looking For<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The Foundation: <\/strong>2\u20135 years in an accounts or finance role, with hands-on experience in core accounting operations and MIS preparation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Builder: <\/strong>Genuinely strong with Excel and Google Sheets &#8211; you have built things: automated trackers, dashboards, reconciliation templates not just used formulas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Analyst: <\/strong>Comfortable turning raw financial data into insights that are easy for non-finance stakeholders to act on.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Communicator: <\/strong>Clear written English; you can write a process document, draft a management report in Word, and create a clean slide in PowerPoint without it looking like a first attempt.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Mindset: <\/strong>Curiosity and ownership, you chase problems to closure, flag what isn\u2019t working, and propose better ways to do it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bonus Points: <\/strong>Hands-on experience with SAP FICO, ERPNext, or Zoho Books, and genuine comfort using AI tools as everyday work assistants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>You don\u2019t need every tool on this list.
